Olivia brings an interdisciplinary background in environmental planning and policy. With a B.S. in Sustainable Environmental Design, her academic focus included areas of urban ecology, climate science, and design methodologies of the built environment.
Olivia has worked at the public institution level on campus planning efforts in the UC system. Her experience includes authoring land management plans, site and species mapping, and community goal setting—with a working knowledge of participatory design practices. Her work designing a stewardship plan for the UC Davis Sustainable Living & Learning Communities directly contributed to the award of a university grant to bring these goals to fruition. With worked case studies in community and regional planning efforts of California, Olivia’s experience lies at the intersection of social processes and geographical space.
