Mr. Lee is an environmental planner with an interdisciplinary background in NEPA/CEQA analysis, technical literature review and analysis, and land use permitting for renewable energy and battery storage projects. Mr. Lee has performed environmental and land use due diligence on numerous projects throughout the western U.S., with a focus on the state of California. He is highly adept at reviewing city and county municipal codes and ordinances and synthesizing the information into easy to understand tables.

He most recently completed this task for the CEQA analysis of a large-scale regional greenway project in Los Angeles County, involving over 20 different incorporated cities. He has performed critical issues analysis, identified permitting pathways, and on-site due diligence (Phase I Environmental Site Assessments; Biological Resources Surveys; Jurisdictional Waters Surveys).

Mr. Lee has contributed to many CEQA and NEPA analyses for energy and infrastructure projects, including the recent Dogwood EIR for a combined geothermal-solar power station in Imperial County. Additionally, Mr. Lee has supported agency coordination and stakeholder engagement efforts for permitting projects and special studies.

Currently, Mr. Lee is supporting enhanced stakeholder outreach engagement for the Spirit Lake Outflow Project at Gifford Pinchot National Forest. He is also developing video, music, graphics, and other multimedia for interactive documents/presentations.

Mr. Lee earned a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of California Santa Barabara in 2022 with a focus on Environmental Planning and Professional Writing.
