The City has a fleet of more than 200 vehicles that are all gasoline or diesel engines. Some decisions about new vehicles and vehicle charging stations are being made, and such decisions could benefit from a forward-looking Fleet Transition Plan that evaluated the City’s fleet of the future in a 5, 10, and 20-year planning horizon. Catalyst is bringing their expertise to the assignment to balance the safety and reliability needs of Public Works together with mandates and goals towards electric or hydrogen powered vehicles.
