At the direction of the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, Catalyst is assisting the County with incorporation of the following items into the amended ordinances: (1) discretionary permit time limits; (2) increasing the amount of surety and insurance; and (3) handling of long-term idle wells. Catalyst is providing technical expertise to the County, drafting ordinance language, and conducting an environmental analysis to support a CEQA Categorical Exemption for the ordinance amendments.
